I’ve always heard to find a script that isn’t popular. The professors will be interested in something they haven’t heard a million times. Make sure it’s age appropriate. Always speak to someone. Even if you’re doing a monologue, ask someone to sit in front of you so you can actually speak to them. Maybe even ask them react to you with nods or silent expressions.
