In 2023, I performed a monologue about Dustbin getting life. The beginning of the monologue is very comical, showing how Indians interact with Dustbin and his viewpoint on that. Then this monologue shifts to an intense, dramatic act when the dustbin sees the murder of the little poor girl who daily took something to eat or to play from the dustbin. Now he shouts, cries, and becomes angry, but there is nobody to see and nobody to listen to him.
This was my introduction to acting, where I played the lead role in my school play, and during the 1-month practice, I learned about stage ethics, speech, dialogue delivery, voice modulation, expressions, and nine emotions. and also understood a very deep and key point: the difference is playing the character and being the character. I successfully nailed all points at the end of the practice, delivering a fantastic character in play, which my teachers and friends remember today too.
