Akshara Arya

am an actress based in Mumbai, originally from Bihar, with a strong background in journalism, theatre, and performing arts. I completed my Master’s degree in Journalism and started my career as a News Anchor with Sanskar TV in Noida, where I developed strong on-camera presence, voice modulation, and audience engagement skills. Before entering the acting industry, I was actively involved in Delhi theatre, performing in nukkad nataks, stage plays, and drama productions. My theatre experience helped me build command over expressions, dialogue delivery, character adaptation, and live performance timing. Along with acting and anchoring, I also have a foundation in dance. I have represented my state in folk dance at the state level, which has strengthened my body language, grace, and stage confidence. Being from Bihar, I am fluent in Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Hindi, and can adapt easily to North Indian cultural and linguistic nuances. After gaining experience in journalism and theatre, I shifted to Mumbai to pursue acting full-time and have been working consistently across projects. I am passionate, disciplined, camera-friendly, quick at understanding a director’s vision, and always eager to deliver my best in every performance. I am looking forward to working on meaningful projects where I can showcase my versatility as an actress.
