Saved Searches and Talent Alerts
On Find Talent, set your filters and tap Save this search. Leave alerts on and Castkro notifies you when more performers match. Run, edit or delete saved searches from Saved Searches in the menu.

On Find Talent, set your filters and tap Save this search. Leave alerts on, and Castkro sends you a notification when more performers match it. Your saved searches live under Saved Searches in the menu, where you can run, edit or delete them.
Before you start
Saving searches is for casting director accounts. If you are signed out, Save this search takes you to sign in first.
Step 1: Run the search you want to keep
Open Find Talent and set your filters, for example female dancers aged 20 to 30 in Delhi. Check the results look right before saving. The saved search keeps exactly these filters.
Step 2: Tap Save this search
Save this search sits above the results, next to Sort by. A box titled Save this search opens.

Tap Save search. You see Search saved. We will tell you when new talent matches it.
Two different save buttons
Save this search keeps your filters. The Save button on a performer's card keeps that person, by adding them to a candidate list. See Building Candidate Lists and Shortlists.
How alerts work

Each time it checks, Castkro counts how many performers match your search. If the number has gone up since your last alert, you get a notification such as 3 new matches for your saved search "Delhi dancers, 20-30". Tap it to open Find Talent with those filters and the newest profiles first.
If nothing new matches, nothing is sent.
Alerts arrive as notifications in Castkro, under the bell. Castkro limits how many Talent for you notifications it sends you in a day, so on a busy day some matches are held until the next check.
A count, not a list of names
An alert tells you the matching number went up. If some performers stopped matching while others joined, the alert reflects the difference, so it can undercount the new faces. Sorting by newest when you open the alert shows you the latest profiles first.
Manage your saved searches
Tap Saved Searches in the menu. Each card shows the search's name, its filters, how many results it found last time, how many runs, and, if alerts are on, how often they arrive.
- Run search opens Find Talent with those filters.
- The menu button beside it, labelled Search actions, offers:
- Edit to rename the search or change Alert frequency
- Enable alerts or Disable alerts
- Duplicate to make a copy under a new name
- Delete, which asks Delete this search? first
The Edit box says email
The Edit box labels the alert checkbox Email me when new talent matches. Alerts currently arrive as notifications in Castkro rather than by email.
FAQ
Why have I not had an alert?
Alerts only go out when more performers match than last time. A narrow search, such as one city, one age band and one skill, may not grow for weeks. Check the card on Saved Searches says alerts are on, and try a wider search or a daily frequency.
Can I change the filters of a saved search?
Not directly. Edit changes the name and the alerts. To change filters, tap Run search, adjust the filters on Find Talent, and save it as a new search. Then delete the old one.
Does a duplicated search keep its alerts?
No. A copy starts with alerts off. Turn them on from the card's Search actions menu with Enable alerts.
How do I stop saved search alerts altogether?
Use Disable alerts on each search. To silence all of them at once, turn off Talent for you under Notifications in your account settings. That also turns off Castkro's other talent suggestions.
Is there a limit on how many searches I can save?
No limit is set. Give each one a clear name so the list stays easy to scan.
