Open your candidate lists

You will be asked to sign in first. We will bring you straight back to this step.

Tap Save on a performer's card in Find Talent, or Add to list on their profile, then pick a list or create one. Open Candidate Lists in the menu to see all your lists, plus Unlocked Contacts, which holds everyone whose details you have unlocked.

What a candidate list is for

A candidate list is a private folder of performers, named however you like: Leads for the web series, Callbacks Tuesday, Kids for the biscuit ad. Nobody else sees your lists, and performers are not told when you add them to one.

Lists are separate from the Application Manager. Shortlist in the Application Manager is a decision on someone's application, and the performer is told about it. A candidate list is your own note of who to look at.

Step 1: Add a performer from Find Talent

  1. On a performer's card, tap Save. A box titled Save to a list opens.
  2. Tap an existing list to add them to it.
  3. Or type a name under New list, for example Lead role shortlist, and tap Create & save.

You see Saved to list. or List created and talent saved.

Step 2: Add a performer from their profile

  1. On the profile, tap Add to list.
  2. Choose a list under Choose a list, or create a new one with New list name, for example Leads for the web series.
  3. Tap Add.
The heart is not a candidate list

Cards and profiles also have a heart, labelled Save this profile on a card and Save or Saved on a profile. The heart keeps a separate set of saved profiles and tells the performer that a casting director saved their profile. Today that set is not shown on the Candidate Lists page. To keep people somewhere you can open again, use Save on the card or Add to list on the profile.

Step 3: Open your lists

Tap Candidate Lists in the menu. The page is headed Your lists.

  • Unlocked Contacts is pinned at the top once you have unlocked anyone. Castkro adds a performer to it automatically when you unlock their phone or email.
  • Each of your own lists shows its name and how many candidates it holds. Tap View list to open it.
  • New list creates an empty list. Give it a List name of up to 100 characters and tap Create list.

Step 4: Work through a list

On a list, each performer shows their photo, name and role types. Tap the name to open their profile.

  • Remove takes someone off this list. You are asked Remove this candidate? and they stay on Castkro.
  • Move puts them in another of your lists and takes them out of this one. It appears when you have another list to move them to.
  • Select lets you tick several people, then Move or Remove them together. Tap Done when you are finished.
  • The bin icon, Delete list, deletes the whole list after Delete this list?. The performers themselves are not affected.

Unlocked Contacts cannot be deleted, because Castkro keeps it up to date for you.

FAQ

Do performers know I added them to a list?

Not for a named candidate list. The heart is different: saving a profile with the heart notifies the performer that a casting director saved their profile.

If I remove someone from Unlocked Contacts, do I lose their details?

No. Details you unlocked stay visible on their profile whatever happens to the list. See How Contact Unlock Works.

Can two lists have the same name?

No. A second list with the same name as one you already have is refused. Add a date or a project name to tell them apart.

Where are the profiles I saved with the heart?

They are kept, and the heart stays filled on their card and profile, but there is no page listing them today. Add the people you want to find again to a candidate list with Save or Add to list.

Can I share a list with my team?

Not today. Lists belong to your account only.
