How to Invite Talent to Apply for Your Role
Tap Invite to apply on a performer's card or profile, choose your casting call and role, add a note and send. You need a published call. Track answers under Invited, where you can nudge once or withdraw.

Tap Invite to apply on a performer's card in Find Talent or on their profile, choose your casting call and role, add a note, and tap Send invitation. You need a published casting call. Their answer shows under Invited in the Application Manager, where you can nudge once or withdraw.
Before you start
- A published casting call with at least one saved role. Without one, the invite box says You need a published casting call before you can invite anyone.
- The right role in mind. An invitation is for one role, not a whole call.
Inviting is free. It does not use credits and it does not count towards your conversation limit.
Step 1: Find the performer
Search on Find Talent, or open a performer's profile. Every card from a casting director's view has Invite to apply, unless the performer is under 18 and marked Contact blocked because no guardian has confirmed their profile yet.
Step 2: Tap Invite to apply
On a Find Talent card, a box titled Invite followed by the performer's name opens.

Your stage work in Mumbai stood out on your profile. Meera carries long Hindi dialogue scenes, and I would like to see you apply for her.
Tap Send invitation. You see Invitation sent. and the button changes to Invited.
On a performer's profile the box is titled Invite followed by their first name and to apply, and the note field is labelled Note (optional). It works the same way.
Invite in one tap from a role
In the Application Manager's Suggested stage, tap Search all talent for this role under the role's details. Find Talent opens with that casting call and role already chosen, so Invite to apply on any card sends the invitation straight away, with no box to fill in.
Invite several people at once
In the Application Manager, open Suggested and pick a Casting call and a Role. Tick the performers you want, or tap Select all, then tap Invite followed by the number. You can invite up to 25 people at a time.
What the performer gets
They get a notification in Castkro and, unless they have turned invitation emails off, an email. For a performer under 18 whose profile is held by a parent or guardian, the guardian receives the email and answers for them.
If they accept, their application appears under New in the Application Manager with an Invited badge. You also get a notification when they answer.
An accepted invitation skips the usual application checks
Because you asked for this person by name, accepting creates their application without checking your call's applicant standards, their monthly application allowance, or whether the call has since closed.
Step 3: Follow up under Invited
Open Applications and tap the Invited stage. Invitations are grouped under Awaiting response, Accepted and Declined.
- Nudge sends one reminder for an invitation nobody has answered. You can only do this once per invitation. A second try says You have already sent a reminder for this invitation.
- Withdraw cancels an invitation that has not been answered yet.
FAQ
Why is Invite to apply missing from a card?
Either you are not signed in as a casting director, or the performer is under 18 and marked Contact blocked because no guardian has confirmed their profile. You cannot invite, message or unlock a performer in that state.
It says I have already invited this person
You can only have one open invitation per person per role. If they have not answered, you see You have already invited this talent for this role, and are waiting on their response. If they accepted, they are already in your applicants. Invite them to a different role, or nudge them.
Can I invite someone again after they decline?
Yes. Once an invitation is declined or withdrawn, you can invite the same person again, for the same role or another one.
Does inviting count as starting a conversation?
No. Invitations are separate from messages and do not use your free conversation allowance. See Messaging Talent: Rules and Limits.
Should I invite people to a call that is still a draft?
No. A performer who opens a draft or an unpublished call cannot see it. Publish the call first and wait for it to be live, then invite.
