The free performer plan includes 15 applications a month, Starter includes 30, and Spotlight and Elite are unlimited. When you run out, Apply now shows a message saying so. Withdrawn applications still count, and your count starts again when your plan's cycle does.
How many you get
| Performer plan | Applications |
|---|---|
| Free | 15 a month |
| Starter | 30 a month |
| Spotlight | Unlimited |
| Elite | Unlimited |
These are the performer plans. Casting directors have their own plans, and some share a name.
What you see when you run out
When you tap Apply now with nothing left, your application is not sent, and the apply panel shows:
You have used 15 of 15 applications per cycle on your current plan.
with a See plans link underneath. On Starter the numbers read 30 of 30.
If a casting call also asks for things your profile is missing, you see that list first. The limit only comes up once your profile meets the call's requirements.
What counts
| Counts towards your limit | Does not count |
|---|---|
| Every application you send | Applications from before your current cycle started |
| Applications you later withdraw | Opening or reading a casting call |
| Invitations to apply that you accept | Saving a casting call |
Withdrawing does not give an application back
The count is of applications you made during the cycle, not applications that are still open. If you apply and then withdraw, that application is still used. Read the casting call properly before you tap Apply now.
Invitations are the exception at the moment you accept
When a casting director invites you to apply and you accept, the invitation goes through even if you have no applications left. The casting director asked for you by name, so it is never refused for this reason. It does count towards your total from then on, so accepting one when you have 1 left leaves you with 0.
When your count resets
- On the free plan, your count normally covers the calendar month and starts again on the 1st.
- On a paid performer plan, it starts again on the date your plan renews each billing period, not on the 1st.
What to do when you run out
- Wait for your count to reset. Nothing you applied to is affected, and you can still answer casting directors who message you and accept invitations.
- Use the time on your profile. Casting directors can still find you in Find Talent and invite you, and accepting an invitation is never refused because of the limit. Check the Where your profile stands card on your dashboard.
- Or look at the performer plans. Tap See plans. The page opens showing how many you have
used, for example
You've used 15 of 15 applications per cycle.
If you already pay for a performer plan, changing to a bigger one is not something you can do in the app yet. See cancelling or changing your plan.
Spend applications where you fit
With 15 a month, apply to roles whose age range, location and role type genuinely match your profile, and write a short note each time. Ten careful applications often do more than fifteen quick ones.
FAQ
Do applications use credits?
No. Performers never spend credits. Applications come out of your plan's allowance, and credits are only used by casting directors.
I withdrew an application straight away. Can I get it back?
No. Every application made during the cycle counts, including withdrawn ones.
Does each role count separately?
Yes. Applying to two roles in the same casting call uses two applications.
I manage my child's profile. Whose limit is used?
Your child's. Each profile has its own plan and its own allowance, so applying for one child does not use another child's applications or your own.
Where can I see how many I have used?
There is no counter on your dashboard. The page that See plans opens after a refusal shows your
usage for the cycle, such as You've used 15 of 15 applications per cycle. Until then, My
Applications lists everything you have applied for, with the date you applied.
