Be Both a Performer and a Casting Director on Castkro

Today a login cannot add the other kind of profile by itself. If you are a performer who also casts, or a casting director who also performs, write to us through the contact form and we will add the second profile to your existing login.

One login, two profiles

Your Castkro login is your account: your email, password and phone number. Hanging off it is a profile. A performer profile holds your photos, skills and applications. A casting director profile holds your company details and your casting calls.

One login can hold both. Each profile keeps its own details, so your headshots do not appear on your casting director page, and your casting calls do not appear on your performer profile. You keep one email address and one password for both.

Ask for a second profile

1. Open the contact form.
2. Under Reason, choose Account & login.
3. Fill in Name, for example Arjun Nair.
4. In Email, use the address you sign in with, for example arjun.nair.films@gmail.com. If you are signed in, the message is linked to your account whichever address you type.
5. In Message, say which profile you want added, for example: I have a performer account and I also cast short films in Kochi. Please add a casting director profile to my login.
6. Select Send message.

You will see a reference number, and we email you a copy. Keep it if you write in again.

If your login already holds both

Some older accounts were opened with both profiles already attached. If yours was, you can move between them yourself:

1. Open your account menu and select Account settings.
2. On the Account tab, find the card headed Switch account type.
3. Select Switch to Casting Director if you are on your performer profile, or Switch to Artist if you are on your casting director profile.

You land on the other profile, and you can switch back the same way. If you do not see the Switch account type card, your login holds one profile, and the contact form is the way to add the other.

FAQ

Will adding a casting director profile change my performer profile?

No. The performer profile, its photos, applications and plan stay as they are. The casting director profile starts empty and you fill it in like any new one.

Do the two profiles share a plan?

No. Performer plans and casting director plans are separate, and each side starts on its free plan. Castkro subscription plans explained lists what each includes.

Can someone under 18 have a casting director profile?

No. A casting director has to be 18 or over, because they book performers and take responsibility for them on set.

I signed up with Google and picked the wrong option. What now?

Write to us through the contact form with the reason Account & login, and say which profile you meant to create.
